How to Get Away with Murder 01×14 – 01×15 ‘The Night Lila Died’ & ‘It’s All My Fault’: Some friggin’ hitman

The only word I can use other than random keyboard mashing is: Wow. Initially I was wondering how this show could possibly go into a second season without the characters making it the How to Dwell on Murder show. I thought what if they get rid of the students and make Annalise teach new students using real life murder scenarios to see if they are tough enough. Throw them right into the actions to see if they can save themselves. Or Bonnie leaves the firm because of her distrust of Annalise, taking Asher with her and causing tension between the now rivalling firms. However, all of those ideas are null and void now that we were brought this gloriously jaw-dropping two-hour season finale of How to Get Away with MurderPrepare yourself because this one is a doozy. Here’s ‘The Night the Lila Died’ & ‘It’s All My Fault.’

How to Get Away with Murder 0 1×13 ‘Mamas Here Now’: A look into Anna Mae’s past

What a turn of events to lead us into the season finale of How to Get Away with Murder. We got to see why Annalise has Bonnie on her team because she can certainly hold her own in a courtroom. Everything we knew about Annalise was thrown out the window as she comes from a past none of us would have ever suspected. The Guilty Four continue to find themselves increasingly paranoid about the Keating case, but it appears Wes and Laurel might be onto something. It was odd not seeing Hannah given her determination to pin Sam’s death on Annalise, but who can blame them with Cicely Tyson guest starring as Mama Keating herself. Let’s get to it, onto “Mama’s Here Now.”

Person of Interest 04×15 ‘Q & A’: Meet the Root of Samaritan

With this episode we see a lot of parallels between Team Machine and Samaritan. It was obvious that there were distinct similarities, but with the emergence of a familiar face we are brought the Root of Samaritan. Both AI aid humanity in their own ways and both dispose of people they deem a threat to their survival. One question remains: Is Samaritan doing worse than the Machine would be in the same situation? Food for thought. Meanwhile Reese tries to protect the next number, a software programmer with a mysterious second life. Lots going on this week on Person of Interest. Was this story full of shock and realization or was everything predictable? That’s for you to decide, let’s jump into “Q & A”

Scandal 04×12 ‘Gladiators Dont Run’: Who bought Olivia Pope?

Now I’m not sure about the other ShondaLand viewers, but I was not the most comfortable watching an episode dedicated to selling Olivia Pope, an African-American, in an auction. As the auction for Olivia begins, Fitz and the White House and Jake and OPA try to find ways to bid on her including getting in bed with terrorists with some familiar faces. Meanwhile Fitz attempts to get Nichols to resign, but the vice-president has a few tricks up his sleeves. Lots of drama this week, and characters start to unravel under the pressure of this Scandal. Let’s get to it, onto “Gladiators Don’t Run!” Read the rest at gottawatchit.com…

How to Get Away with Murder 0 1×12 ‘She’s a Murderer’: The Fifth Amendment

Well if one thing is for certain, Shonda Rhimes is queen of the cliffhanger. In every one of her shows she manages to turn out jaw-dropping twists within seconds of the credits, even if the first forty minutes or so aren’t all that invigorating. With the discovery of Sam’s body Hannah is hell bent on finding his murderer while Annalise and the Guilty Four adapt to the new evidence. Meanwhile another person learns the truth and someone is arrested for Sam’s death. Let’s get to it, onto “She’s a Murderer.”

Person of Interest 04×14 ‘Guilty’: Back to basics

It was back to basics on Person of Interestas Finch and Reese decided to take on the world by themselves. This was the first real filler episode of season 4. Nothing to do with Samaritan and almost nothing to do with the Elias and Dominic battle. Instead, Finch’s cover identity is stuck on jury duty for a murder trial when the next number conveniently is another juror. Meanwhile Reese has continued to see Dr. Campbell as the team grieves the loss of Shaw. This legal procedural episode even has a surprise guest. Was this story full of shock or was everything predictable? That’s for you to decide, let’s jump into “Guilty” Read the rest at gottawatchit.com…

Hawaii Five-0 05×14 ‘Powehiwehi’: Head out on the highway

Okay again with the lack of Danny? This is becoming a recurring theme and I do not like it one bit. The McDanno dynamic is what makes this show and yet there has been less and less of it. Come on already! Give us what we want to see. Anyway, on Hawaii Five-0the team investigates a criminal that escaped from Oahu prison, only he doesn’t remember. This in turn reveals a larger operation with a bigger fish to fry. Meanwhile Kono and Adam are dealing with issues in their relationship. Five-0 is on the case in “Powehiwehi.”Read the rest at gottawatchit.com…
