VERDICT

Long Shot is a formulaic, yet hilarious, political comedy that takes a basic premise and manages to elevate it. While the story drags and feels a bit safe causing a bit of uneven pacing, the comedic elements paired with the charisma and chemistry of its two leads makes this satire a surprising success. This film survives on the star power of its cast.
