Synopsis: Lucifer Morningstar has decided he’s had enough of being the dutiful servant in Hell and decides to spend some time on Earth to better understand humanity. He settles in Los Angeles – the City of Angels.

This season of Lucifer is a devilishly charming change of pace for this police procedural. While some of the subplots felt underdeveloped, the faster pacing of the shorter season paired with strong writing, exceptional performances, deep themes and a darker atmosphere make watching this show a sin worth repeating. From its stylistic changes to different tone, Lucifer season 4 starts a new age of darker devil stories.

Score: 9.5/10
