FULL REVIEW: CONTAINS SPOILERS
Always Be My Maybe is a smart, entertaining romantic comedy filled with love, laughter and loss. The story finds itself predictable and playing it too safe with awkward dialogue and the occasional dead joke. Thankfully, the chemistry of the leads, performances of the ensemble, relatable themes and overall enjoyable atmosphere make watching this film more than just a maybe. It uses an Asian ensemble to tell a universal story that feels like a modernized version of When Harry Met Sally.
