Oblivion Awaits.

DIRECTED BY: Claire Denis
WRITTEN BY: Claire Denis, Jean-Pol Fargeau and Geoff Cox
STARRING: Robert Pattinson, Juliette Binoche and Andre Benjamin

SYNOPSIS: A father and his daughter struggle to survive in deep space where they live in isolation. (IMDB)

High Life is an ambitious arthouse sci-fi that will divide fans of the genre. While it has a strong cast, an interesting premise, thoughtful themes and scenic cinematography, the messy script, story structure, dialogue and uncomfortable tone make this sci-fi one that is lost in space. It is certainly an acquired taste and one that I could pass on.
