Review

Darkest Hour is a suspenseful war drama that finds its story shining bright in the bleakest time. While the cinematography is a bit generic and the supporting cast is unmemorable, this character-driven story rises to the occasion as Gary Oldman’s charismatic, masterful performance bears the weight of this heavy tale.
